The new issue of SESSION13 magazine is now online at T13.tv or on Facebook from the T13 and SESSION13 pages. If you aren’t up to speed with what SESSION13 is well basically it is the mouthpiece for urban & street culture in Northern Ireland produced by us here at The Pit for T13 Urban Playground.
This time round we have a whole host of features including Belfast skater Denis Lynn v. The new T13 skate plaza, John McVea showing us how BMX should be done in his hometown of Newtownards, all the action from Cypher Sessions part 2, Irish music with Dead Til Friday and Toby Kaar, recent RampRage carnage and profile videos of Isaac Lesser & Jack Clark. Since we started the T13 project nearly a year ago now we have been constantly striving to help promote and develop urban sports throughout both our local communities and across the whole of Ireland. We have already established a world class facility with the Rhythm Room and now we are about to do one better with the launch of Ireland’s first foam pit.
The official launch party will be Saturday 17th September in association with Monster Energy and of course at T13 // Titanic Quarter // Belfast – Northern Ireland’s home of counter culture.
We hope you can join us and help celebrate this addition to our arsenal as we continue to endeavor to highlight BMX, skate and blade talent in this country and help the next generation to be world beaters.

Culture Night Belfast is a yearly celebration of all aspects of the cultures that co-exist in and around our city. This year we are very proud to have been asked to be the main focus of the Urban Culture hub, situated at Buoy Park, between St. Anne’s cathedral and the art college. As this area was a vital part in breathing life into early street culture in Belfast it is fitting that we will be showcasing what Belfast has to offer on this spot.
On the night we will have the RampRage BMX & skate teams out with a quarter pipe set-up, as well as b-boying and street dance. Also going on in and around us will be live street art with KVLR, Friz and some other local painters, and finally the Belfast Parkour crew will be knocking about showing you just what can be done with your urban environment.
We are not everything that is going on in the Cathedral Quarter that night so be sure to get down early and also explore the rest of what Belfast has to offer. Join up with Culture Night on Facebook to keep in the know. The event starts and 4pm and will go on until 10pm that night, then it’s after-party time…

These are some of the pics we took for the press launch of the ‘On Your Bike!’ day the QFT are running at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on Sunday 4th September. There is going to be a full day of Bike related films & fun, as well as a RampRage BMX show. We are really happy to be going back to take the event photos for the QFT too. Pretty happy with how these came out though…
